The chamber will not pump down. What’s the reason ?
There are three possible causes:
(1) The leakage from the Ferrofluidic Feedthroughs’ failure;
(2) The leakage from the static seal(such as O-ring, gasket) for the mounting Ferrofluidic Feedthroughs;
(3) The leakage from some other places of the equipment.
The startup/running torque of the Ferrofluidic Feedthroughs is too big. What’s the reason ?
There are five possible causes:
(1) The Ferrofluidic Feedthroughs has been left in damp environment without rotation for a long time;
(2) The environment temperature is very low;
(3) There are many particles coming from chemical process have deposited on the seal gap of the Ferrofluidic Seal;
(4) The bearing grease has deteriorated;
(5) The bearing is damaged.
The Ferrofluidic Feedthroughs cannot rotate.
Please return the failed product to us which need to be overhauled by Vigortec. Do not disassemble it by yourself.
